****OSHA regulations require gas proof goggles be worn with half facepiece respirators when used against formaldehyde.
Only 3M™ filters 2000 Series, 7093, 5N11 or 5P71 are approved for use with 3M™ 5000 Series Respirators. Cartridges on 5000 Series Respirators cannot be replaced. The 3M™ Filter Adapter 502 is required for use of the 2000 Series and 7093 filters with the 5000 Series Respirators and 6000 Series Cartridges. The 3M™ Filter Retainer 501 is required for use of the 5N11 and 5P71 prefilters with the 5000 Series Respirators. The 502 adapter cannot be reused.
